Seems to work ok with FF 3.6 and both Win XP [32bit] and Windows 7 [64bit]

i.e. selected 'Make compatible' on right button menu for PB extension

On Upgrading Firefox to 3.6 I found several of the extansions weren't loading. After a little bit of research and hunting around I managed to find that changing the "install.rdf" file has in the extensions folder of Firefox - application support worked a treat. A simple changing of the compatability line from 3.5 to 3.6 has brought all the extensions back to functioning. So far without any issues have cropped up that appear related to that change.

I run Firefox 3.6 on MAC OS 10.4.11 on a MAC PRO with 8 Gig of Ram. If that helps. I will shortly change the sam file on the other machines once I upgrade to 3.6.

And I really push my Firefox. Generally I will have 6 to 12 property tabs open in amongst 31 main Firefox pages each containing up to 3 to 4 tabs themselves.

Hi

I am running Property Bee in Firefox 3.6 without any apparent problems so far. Although, it must be said, I have only been on Rightmove once since I updated Firefox.

Beerhunter, your posting on Jan 24th at 8:20pm suggested to me directly modifying the PB extension as currently installed within my Firefox profile. This I did. FF 3.6 still saw PB as incompatible, even after restarting FF. So I downloaded a backup copy of BB straight onto my hard drive and modified that copy's install.rdf file as you suggested. Then I installed this over the previous copy within FF. This was successful. PB now is working with FF 3.6 here. :)

(I'm running Windows XP.)

Beerhunter wrote:Ah, right.

I guess firefox hasn't realised the add-on has been updated, and caches the details somewhere.

So in your firefox profile directory you probably need to delete (whilst ff is closed) the following files;

extensions.rdf
extensions.ini
extensions.cache

Over the weekend I have some free time  so plan to download FF 3.6 and test everything out before releasing a new PB.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, yup seems to work for me too.

So just made version 2.0.6.1 available

* to download via the link above / on the left on the front page

* or you should get it in a day or so through firefox's automatic updates

Cheers
